Summer, Summer, Summertime! There’s no other time that’s better than the summertime. (It’s my favorite season, and it’s not just because I am a summer baby.) I’m off work (you have to love the teacher life). Therefore, I can dedicate more time to finding more crafts-piration! (I am totally trying to make crafts-piration happen… it’s my “fetch”).
Stephanie Carina, while not new to Youtube, is fairly new to me. Her channel was irresistible, and these crafts gave me FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). I will definitely be using the magnets in my classroom. I’m excited to even find buttons to make my own magnets. Plus, who doesn’t love slushies? I’ve seen the cup-cakes everywhere, and have yet to try them. Plus, when you love summer like I do, anything appealing to summer appeals to you.
Fun Summer Crafts-piration!
My advice, skip to 4:21 where the crafts begin. (I’ve already done this for you. It’ll start directly at the crafts.) These crafts are true summer essentials to me. Flowers, bright colors, donuts, and pineapples… what more could you want for the summer? They are quick and easy DIYs, and again, they appeal to me. Plus, I am all for DIY decoration. It adds more of a personal touch.
I am a sucker for flowers and Disney, so this one definitely had me hooked from the thumbnail. Again, some of these crafts are items that I can bring into my classroom, further making it more personal and colorful. Out of all of the projects in this video, the holder for Mickey Mouse is my favorite. The flower-filled A makes a close second. 🙂
Universal Summer Crafts-piration!
Who wants to pay an arm and a leg for a waterproof case? Not me! (But I have before.) What really hooks me here is making your own waterproof case, on top of the other crafts that can be used poolside or on the beach. Summer, to me, is about relaxing and sometimes sitting by some water, so why not have the things you need to go along with it? These are wonderful Summer DIYs.
DIY Room Crafts-piration!
Again… they’re bright colorful, simple, and summer-licious! What I love most about making room decor, using ideas like this, is that you can tailor them to any season or decor style. Personally, I live in a city that has about 6 weeks of winter and the rest of the year might as well be summer (Houston, TX). If you’re not a summer fanatic like myself, it’s okay. Take these ideas and make them more relatable to your favorite season.
Tell Me Your Thoughts!
While I hope that you’ve at least skimmed through the videos, let’s be honest, a lot of time people skip through to the end. If you did, it’s cool! Not everyone enjoys reading long pages, which is why I thought it would be nice to embed videos. There’s something here for every kind of learning style. (Sorry, teacher talk!) Anyway, let me know which craft is your favorite or what piqued your interest. Also, if you have a go-to summer craft, let me know in the comments below. I, also, would love any social media shares. Until next time!
